Not a transportation network company

Rollycar is not a Transportation Network Company (TNC), a taxi service, a livery service, or a common carrier. We do not dispatch rides, set prices, or guarantee a ride will be provided.

No background checks

We do not perform criminal background checks, motor vehicle record checks, or insurance verification on drivers or passengers. Phone verification confirms control of a phone number — nothing more. Verifying the identity, license, insurance, and trustworthiness of the other party is your responsibility.

No insurance

Rollycar does not provide auto insurance, trip insurance, or liability insurance for any ride arranged through the platform. Drivers should confirm with their insurer whether their personal auto policy covers carrying paying passengers.

No payment processing for rides

Rollycar processes only the one-time unlock fee. The fare itself is paid directly by the passenger to the driver, off-platform. Rollycar takes no fee from, makes no record of, and assumes no responsibility for those off-platform payments.

Use at your own risk

You assume all risk associated with traveling with another user. Rollycar is not liable for any injury, loss, theft, damage, or other harm arising from any ride or interaction between users.

Local regulations

Rollycar makes no representation that any particular ride is legal or compliant in your jurisdiction. Some areas regulate paid ridesharing. You are responsible for complying with the laws and regulations that apply to you.
